My first impression in overall was very good. Definitely so far the best hotel I've been in in Londom and I do travel there ofren. The beds were supercomfy and the bathroom was clean and sufficient. I have only 2 remarks to make. I booked an early check in since we had a theatre in the evening , so we needed to refresh ourselves and change. I received an email from the hotel that check in at 12.00 will be possible for additional 10 pounds and I clicked on agree. The man at the reception seemed to have no idea of this request and said the room isn't clesn. Then after letting me wait so he can ask housekeeping, he told me to pay 30 pounds. I was a bit struck, because the email I received said 10 which I pointed out to him, but he seemed to completely ignore this. In the end, I paid because we really had no other option, but right at the start I had a very bad impression of your reception and it soured my stay. If it's really 30, please tell me that up front and not send a reponse to which I can officially agree that says 10. That is not ok. My second remark would be the breakfast. For a 4 star hotel that looked pretty luxurous, it was very poor. Yes, you could order some things extra for additional 9 or so pounds, but really, no. I was at a point when I was not going to give you any extra money. Not after this early check up absolutely unpleasant slip up. And especially when you literally shrug at me when I say, um... the email I received said 10 pounds. We wanted to have afternoon tea, but we went somewhere else for that

We had two separate bookings for an Executive Twin room (3 nights) and an Executive Double room (6 nights) because upon reserving online, we couldn't get the latter room for the whole length of our stay. However, during check-in, we were informed that we could get the Executive Double room throughout our 9 nights stay. So yeah, that was a relief as we wouldn't need to check out in between. The room that we got was on the 4th floor with a view of Edna House on Norfolk Square. The room size was good for us and we could put three suitcases on the floor. Bed was clean and comfortable; room and bathroom were clean as well. The housekeeping lady was nice too. We couldn't open the window though. Guess that was understandable. The room temperature could be adjusted too so we wouldn't freeze in the February winter. Overall, we were happy with the room that was given to us.

The hotel was just minutes away from Paddington Station, where you can get a train or tube. Also, the bus stop was near. You can find different restaurants, cafés and pubs in the Paddington area. The hotel was nice, clean and very quiet. The staff was friendly. The room was surprisingly big. Breakfast was enough for us. There were different coffees, tea, bacon, scrambled eggs, baked beans, bangers, croissants, toasts, yogurt, cereals, juices, cheeses, cold cuts, fruit and so much more.

1. 5-minute walk to Paddington Station, where you can take a train directly to LHR (only an approx. 20-minute ride); a bus stop downstairs 2. Quite some eateries round the corner (e.g. KFC, Chicken Cottage, McDonald’s) 3. Very friendly staff, especially the male staff member at front desk at the restaurant. He has been very welcoming and helpful. 4. Breakfast included 5. Provide language storage prior to check-in and after check-out 6. Reasonable room size with a window

Accommodation is very close to Paddington station from which I travelled further onwards. Easy access and smooth check in at the hotel. Good bed for overnight sleep and stay for the 2 booked nights. Breakfast was ok but maybe some extra variation on choice of bread (adding some baguette types or buns/rolls) or mini pastries could be appreciated (only croissants to pick) Overall I can recommend the hotel for staying here for some days to wander around the city.
